This year we make a few visits to the movies, including a symphonic montage of great James Bond themes to celebrate 50 years of British Bond classics. Other movie greats include the beautifully poignant theme from Schindler’s List, by John Williams and following last year’s tremendous response, and by popular demand, the Grace Spitfire makes a return appearance with another thrillingly choreographed display to William Walton’s “Spitfire Prelude”

Last Night of the Blickling Proms with a stunning fireworks finale, choreographed to music. Mezzo Soprano Jessica Walker sings popular opera arias as well as some great cinema classics including “The Way We Were” and “My Heart Will Go On” from Titanic, and to end the evening, all of the traditional proms favourites including Nimrod, British Sea Songs, Rule Britannia, Jerusalem and Land of Hope and Glory. A veritable feast of great music and great spectacle!

This Proms evening will encapsulate all that is best in a grand, outdoor concert. So dust down your candelabra, bring your picnic, flags, food, and wine and soak up the amazing atmosphere in the company of friends.
- Seating is not provided so do bring garden chairs and rugs
- Tickets cannot be exchanged, replaced if lost, nor money refunded
- Disabled parking is available
- Pets, garden flares, private barbecues and Chinese lanterns are not permitted
- The promoter reserves the right to modify the programme

Blickling Hall is 14 miles from Norwich city centre. The address is Blickling, Norwich, Norfolk, NR11 6NF 2 miles North West of Aylsham on the B1354. Brown tourist signed.
Yes
Parking Stewards will direct you to designated free parking areas within Blickling Park. Please do not park on public highways, grass verges or under trees.
Vehicles dropping passengers at the event will be directed to the drop off point which is close to the South entry point. If passengers are being collected the driver of the vehicle will be directed to the same point as they were dropped off. We suggest that all pick ups are back by 10pm to avoid outgoing traffic at the end of the concert.
Yes...you are welcome to bring your own chairs, rugs and picnics if you like. Please be aware however, that for safety reasons you will not be permitted to position chairs or objects which could be hazardous within close proximity of the stage.
Yes! However, please note that personal barbecues are not permitted.
No. These are a danger to livestock and a severe fire risk for surrounding standing crops.
Yes...we would however appreciate it if you brought plastic glasses as the areas will be used by livestock after the event.
There will be sampling on site and a bbq as well as a licensed bar.
Unfortunately there are no cash points within Blickling Park, and credit/debit cards cannot be used at the concessions and catering outlets so it is suggested that you bring sufficient cash to cover your expected needs. The nearest cash point is in Aylsham.
Toilet facilities are located just inside the main entrance on the West side of the arena.
The greatest distance you will have to walk from any of the car parks is approximately 400m over parkland and roadways.
Yes but they only permitted on the perimeter fence line and should not be bigger than 3m x 3m. The pitches for gazebos are on a first come first serve basis and are now sold out.
Hand held umbrellas yes. To prevent obstructing the view of other concert-goers, please do not use umbrellas during the performance.
The taking of photographs for personal use is fine but there are restrictions on ‘professional' cameras being used. There is no objection to pocket digital cameras and mobile phone cameras, High-end 35mm cameras, usually with detachable lenses, would normally qualify as ‘professional' type equipment, and these will not be permitted.
No....the concert will go ahead come rain or shine.
It will be announced in local media and on radio and TV if possible.
If your concert tickets do not arrive within 1 week of booking please inform the Box Office on 01263 734711. There will be a Box Office ticket collection point to the West of the arena by the Main Entrance.

7.30pm – 1st half of the concert commences culminating in a choreographed display by the Grace Spitfire
8.30pm – Interval
9.15pm – 2nd half with fireworks finale
10.15pm – Concert finishes
Yes there will be a fantastic firework display during the finale.
We are expecting up to 10,000 people for the concert.
There will be plenty of room. As this is a sloping site all areas of the picnic and viewing area offer a good view of the stage, although you must bear in mind that people may choose to stand up in front of you.

With the exception of dogs assisting the visually impaired, no animals of any kind are allowed in the concert site. Please do not leave your pets in your car.
